I talked on the phone with my grandma—my mom’s mom. Oh, how I miss her! She told me a story of how when I was in preschool, I found a pinecone in our neighborhood and gave it to her. I told her to keep it and take it back to Korea so that she will remember me or something. She told me today that she still had it in her house. I can’t believe it.
This was a terrible week, and I don’t want another one. Yesterday and today were pretty good days though. So I am inspired to write a few things to get happy, be happy, and stay happy. It is time for a little change…
Stop worrying about the future. God’s got your back. And your loved ones do too. Don’t worry about whether you are headed towards the right direction. Don’t worry about not getting a job. Don’t worry about whether the art school is right for you. Don’t worry about art. When you worry, you over think.
Don’t over think things or you will be sad. Do not analyze every little detail of someone’s actions and words. Leave the analysis to your english homework.
Don’t carry your burdens alone.
Remember to drink water.
Eat healthier. You’ll feel better.
Get into the routine of exercising again. Take a break from projects and what not and bike or run or something. Move. Don’t keep your seat too warm and get out of your room.
Don’t complain about people who complain. Don’t talk shit about other people. Don’t be quick to judge. If you have negative thoughts about a person, don’t share them and don’t let those thoughts settle in your mind. Be friendly. Don’t have a list of people not to associate yourself with.
Call people more and stay in touch.
Laugh again.
